This site is for the business of Friendly Computer Help. While there are many areas of the business, the two main areas are tutoring and editorial assignments. The tutoring area is showing people how to use different components of computers and other electronics. The editorial assignments area refers to typing, editing, transcribing, and proofreading documents. Along with the two main areas, we also offer a variety of different products such as greeting cards, business cards, flyers, catalogs, t-shirts, and brochures

For those of you are not very computer savvy, you can get to the different areas of the website by using the menu buttons at the top.

Owner's Disclaimer: As of February 21, 2010, Friendly Computer Help is officially a partnership between Michelle Chabala, Keith Russell and Pete Britain. These two people do have other jobs as well so please keep in mind that because there are only three people, chances are you will not be able to get help at the last minute, especially in person. We are currently trying to get some contractors to help with the business, but do not know how long that is going to take because of all the government procedures for new employees. Because of the inconsistency of the business, everybody involved in the business has other jobs which take precadence because of the steady income. Because of safety reasons, one of the rules of the business is never go to a client's place by yourself so there will always be two people at each help (you only pay for the service, not the amount of people who come). When you call; whether you get the answering machine or a person, please do not assume that anybody will be available on a particular day. We will call you back as soon as we can and we will coordinate schedules with you and the two people who will be assisting you. We will try our best to accomodate your needs, but because we are a very small business at the moment (just the three of us), please do not expect anybody to be available for an in person help at the last minute. For exampl;, if you need something done by Thursday and you call Tuesday, chances are nobody will be available. We apologize for any inconvenience. However, we do help over the phone and over the internet which are more likely (although not guaranteed) to have availability at the last minute.

We are still working on creating the database for monthly bills to the business which means whenever you purchase a service and/or product, you will have a choice of paying right away or using the monthly bill. In the meantime, if you choose the monthly bill option, Friendly Computer Help will send out the invoice with the service and the bill will be due on that date of the following month. We will except payments online (Once we get the database created, there will be a link set up on the site to let you pay your bill. In the meantime, we will give you instructions on how to pay online if you choose that option to pay). If you do choose the monthly bill, there will be a 1% fee for each month you are late)

We have added some services to the business and will be adding some more services that we are still determining pricing for. While none of our services are charged per hour that we work, there are some that are charged per block periods of time (with a maximum payment amount) and one service transcriptions is charged per audio minute (For those of you are not familiar with transcription information, charging per audio minute is charging for the amount of time the audio file is, not how long it takes us to work on it).
